2. What this public site processes
When you send us a contact request through this site, we process the name, email address, and message you provide so that we can reply. We do not sell personal data.
2.1 Contact inquiries
For each contact request we receive through this site, the categories are your name, email address, message, and locale. When the request is handled by our contact intake service, we also store a keyed HMAC of the client IP address (not the raw IP) to help prevent abuse. We use this information to reply, qualify the inquiry, keep a record of the communication, and prevent spam or fraud. The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR / AVG art. 6 lid 1f (legitimate interest); we have conducted a written Legitimate Interest Assessment (LIA). We keep contact inquiries for 18 months from receipt and then delete them. Recipients are Hetzner (hosting, and PostgreSQL when the intake service stores a copy), Cloudflare Turnstile when that bot-challenge widget is used on the contact form, Resend when an internal notification email is sent, and Google Workspace for the DGA inbox that receives contact messages. You may exercise your rights, including the right to object under Art. 21 GDPR / AVG art. 21, by emailing [email protected].
3. Local storage
If you choose a language, we store that choice in localStorage under qo.locale.pref. That is not a tracking cookie and is not sent to our servers.
4. Hosting
The site is hosted on Hetzner (Germany) and delivered through Cloudflare (DNS, CDN, TLS).
5. Your rights
You may request access, rectification, erasure, restriction, or portability, and you may object to processing, by emailing [email protected]. You may also lodge a complaint with the Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens.
